Krishnan (Krish) Sastry serves as the President and CEO of Appriss and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and long-term value creation for its stakeholders.
Krish joined Appriss in 2013 and has provided leadership in multiple executive roles. He led product strategy and Appriss’s capital investment decisions. Subsequently, he started Appriss Health which is now the nation’s leading platform focused on the prevention of substance use disorders (SUD) and access to care for patients with SUD and behavioral health conditions. Krish also led the Appriss Retail division building it into the premier provider of AI-based solutions to better engage consumers and manage risk. He then went on to become Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the delivery of Appriss’s strategic objectives and operating goals.
With over 30 years of experience in technology and technology-enabled service businesses, Krish brings deep experience in strategy, product management, operations and engineering, in companies ranging from early-stage startups to large, multinationals; both within the US and from multiple assignments overseas. Prior to joining Appriss, Krish held senior executive positions at population health companies Privia Health and Carewise Health; product leadership positions at BEA systems and Abilizer Inc. Earlier in his career, Krish held engineering roles at Unisys Corporation and was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group.
Krish holds a bachelor’s in engineering from BITS Pilani, India, and an MBA from the Wharton School.
Chief people Officer
Tina Figueroa is the Chief People Officer at Appriss. Tina came to Appriss in 2019 to build and scale the global infrastructure needed to support the company’s rapid growth, while maintaining its unique culture. With her dedicated team of human resource professionals in HR Operations, HRIS, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners, Tina ensures all employees realize their potential through an exceptional employee experience and with an entrepreneurial mindset that is helping the company successfully scale and execute on its business strategy.
Tina has a proven track record of over 15 years of experience in providing executive leadership to global teams in the Services, Media, Telecommunication, and Technology industries. She started her career at Deloitte Consulting and worked at companies such as Ad Colony, Cornerstone on Demand and Kyriba, where she led global human resources teams in North America, Latin America, APAC and EMEA. Tina has also built HR departments from scratch and has extensive experience leading technology start-ups through complex workforce transformation strategies, high-growth, acquisitions and other key pivotal organizational changes.
Tina attended the University of Southern California and earned a BA in Psychology. She later completed her Masters in Organizational Leadership at Chapman University and a GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) at Thunderbird International University.
Chief Information Officer
Brian Oldham joined Appriss in 2000 and currently serves as Chief Information Officer. Brian is responsible for setting the technology vision for Appriss and enterprise-class scalability for the services delivered to customers. He leads the Enterprise IT and Security organizations. Brian has more than 25 years of experience in leading technology organizations at large and high growth companies.
Prior to being CIO, Brian was responsible for product engineering and technical operations for Appriss, leading the engineering efforts for all products. Brian has led initiatives such as Agile Development, DevOps, and AWS migration. Prior to Appriss, Brian held technology leadership positions at GE and Providian/Aegon Insurance.
Brian is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for the University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed School of Engineering, Computer Science department. Brian received a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and is IT Service Management Foundations certified and Six Sigma trained.
CHIEF DATA SCIENTIST
Dr. David Speights is the chief data scientist for Appriss. He has more than 25 years of experience developing and deploying analytical solutions for some of the world’s largest companies. Throughout his career, he has managed massive amounts of data using big data tools. He is responsible for analytical modeling and managing POS data from retailers around the globe for Appriss Retail as well as overseeing the development of analytical models for other Appriss business units. In 2017 he co-authored a book about retail analytics.
Before joining the company in 2000, David was first vice president of Mortgage Credit Risk Modeling at Washington Mutual and chief statistician at HNC Software. He consults on projects within a number of industries. Speights holds a PhD in Biostatistics from the UCLA and has several patents.

Darren Moore is the Chief Legal Officer at Appriss. He joined Appriss in 2020 to help the company navigate the next stage of its growth journey and support its role as a trusted provider of information services.
Darren has over 20 years of experience advising highly regulated businesses and is skilled at scaling innovation, contract management and compliance programs. During his career, Darren managed legal support for a diverse set of business units and a significant number of strategic transactions.
Prior to joining Appriss, Darren spent over 15 years in public global data and analytics companies. Most recently, he served as General Counsel, Mergers and Acquisitions for RELX, the FTSE 100 parent company of LexisNexis and Elsevier. Darren began his in-house legal career at Equifax.
Prior to moving in-house, Darren was an associate at the Baker Donelson and Troutman Sanders (now Troutman Pepper) law firms.
Darren is a graduate of the University of Florida and Washington & Lee School of Law.

Mr. Cohen brings over 13 years of healthcare experience to Appriss Health with a career spanning leadership positions at McKinsey and Company, Anthem, and Healthways.
In his most recent role, he served as the Market President of Tennessee for Evolent Health, a leading health IT and population health provider, where he was responsible for the operations, growth, and profitability of regional relationships.
Mr. Cohen holds a BBA, summa cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin, a master of computer and information technology from the Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

As President of Appriss Insights, Brian Matthews is responsible for the overall strategic direction and financial performance of this leading data and analytics business focused on saving lives, preventing fraud, and keeping communities and workplaces safe.
Since joining Appriss in 2017, Brian has lead Insights’ product strategy, successfully pivoting the business towards new growth opportunities in risk management and fraud prevention, growing revenue by 70% and doubling EBITDA. In October 2019, Brian was promoted to President of Appriss Insights. As President, Brian has continued to drive growth and helped shape the culture of Insights to focus on growth over status quo, action over deliberation, and team over self-interests.
Brian has over 30 years of senior leadership in technology companies with a primary focus on strategy, business development, sales, marketing, and product management. His experience ranges from startups and growth stage companies to Fortune 50 organizations. Career highlights include almost a decade at JP Morgan Chase, eight years at VeriSign, as they scaled from $100M to $1.5B in revenue, and growth leadership roles at eOriginal, Verint, and Vubiquity. In these roles, Brian focused on defining growth strategies, disrupting markets, launching new products and channel distribution.
Brian holds an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BBA in Accounting and Pre-Law from Ohio University. He lives in the suburbs of Maryland outside of D.C. with his wife and three children.

Steve Prebble serves as the President of Appriss Retail and is responsible for all aspects its operations, joining the business in the summer of 2019.
Prior to Appriss Retail, Steve led several marketing service provider companies, including directing the growth of SaaS engagements for EYC and Aztec (acquired by IRi), and more recently driving significant growth of the digital load-to-card promotions ecosystem at Catalina for 100+ US retailers and CPG brands, serving offers to over 50 million shoppers nationally.
Earlier, Steve held senior roles with global food retail businesses across store operations, merchandising and marketing for leading retailers including Sainsburys, Shaw’s Supermarkets, Albertsons, and Tesco Lotus (Thailand). Steve has led the design and launch of two retail loyalty marketing programs and the creation of CRM engagement programs and the supporting insights and analytics infrastructures.
Steve earned his MBA from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Co-Founder, Executive chairman & Member of THE Board of Directors
Michael (Mike) Davis serves as the Executive Chairman and serves on Appriss’s board of directors. He provides strategic counsel to the CEO and helps identify strategic areas of growth and innovation for Appriss – be it through R&D or through M&A.
Mike co-founded Appriss in 1994 and has helped build it from an early stage startup with pioneering technology to help crime victims to a leading data, analytics and technology provider in multiple markets.
Mike is a two-time winner of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. In 2004, he was awarded the prestigious Paul H. Chapman award by the Foundation for Improvement of Justice. In 2009, he was awarded the US Congressional Crime Victims Award in recognition of his work on behalf of crime victims throughout the country. And in 2019, Mike was inducted into Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.
In 2000, Mike helped launch the Mary Byron Foundation in honor of the young woman whose tragic murder inspired the creation of Appriss. This charitable organization focuses on ending the cycle of domestic violence. He continues to serve as an active board member of the Mary Byron Foundation and also serves as an advisor to several other entrepreneurial and charitable organizations.
